griffOworks is in the early-stage development of a 3D video game where students become virtual apprentices and engage in discovering and experiencing jobs while identifying their interests, skills, and abilities.
The mission is to reshape how high school students explore and experience jobs through game-based learning and takes career awareness and planning for high school students into the 21st century.
During the early stages, one of the goals was to create a brand that would encompass the core values and personality that distinguished the company. Fun, lively and engaging graphics; and animations; offered a brand voice that is attention-grabbing and forward-looking.
The griffOworks wordmark juxtaposes the playfulness seen within the expressive, bulbous serifs and geometric shapes with a more formal and classic look of a traditional serif font. Playful yet simple animations further reinforce this juxtaposition.
